Spring Hockey
HockeyIQ will facilitating try-outs & assembling top tier Spring Hockey tournament teams at the Elite/AAA & AA/A level. Team Jerseys/Socks, apparel & Practices will be provided to all players. Spring Hockey is for kids born in 2015/2016/2017.
Pre-Tryout Tune-Ups
Hockey IQ will also be providing pre-tryout skates led by our staff of hockey professionals.
These tune up skates will be at the Elite/AAA & AA/A skill level.

Tydan Specialty Blades Inc. was founded by Jim in 1996. The business originally specialized in manufacturing of industrial blades. In 2012, Jim and his son Tyler designed and manufactured the first Tydan Performance Blade for hockey. It was very quickly adopted and recognized as a top brand by professionals, junior and minor hockey players all over the world. Fast forward 10 years, and the Tydan Team discontinued manufacturing skate blades and instead focused on providing quality services to hockey players. To this day, the Tydan Team remains the industry leader in skate blade profiling and sharpening, trusted by all 32 NHL teams, including the Toronto Maple Leafs and players such as Sidney Crosby.

NHL veteran of 10 seasons with the Florida Panthers, Vancouver Canucks, Toronto Maple Leafs, Colorado Avalanche and the Winnipeg Jets playing 551 games. Shawn Matthias now has found a deep rooted passion in teaching the next generation of talented hockey players. With an abundance of knowledge and teachings he learned at the highest level from some of the marquee coaches in the game. Shawn’s hopes are to improve every players skill level, mental fortitude, fitness and all round hockey IQ to propel them to the next level.

Kane Elliot is an Elite Youth Hockey Development coach. He played NCAA Division 1 hockey with Mercyhurst University, Jr. A with Milton Icehawks and has coached and recruited within the NCAA, Pittsburgh Penguins and Pennsylvania Brick organizations.
